Technical Data Product Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Technical Data Product Engineer to support the Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) used by customers. You will work across design, manufacturing and service teams to ensure accurate reference data for aircraft maintenance, retrofits and technical publications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational processes with internal stakeholders, outsourcing partners and customers to deliver high‑quality reference data.
• Ensure integrity and consistency of Airbus Defence & Space ILS product data in logistic databases.
• Support on‑site customers with loading, migrating and validating reference data in the MIS.
• Lead digitalisation projects for reference data, applying big‑data techniques and promoting new services.
• Define IT requirements, oversee a subcontractor team, and develop procedures and interfaces.
• Generate reports, KPIs and respond to technical queries such as A400M reference data.

Required profile

• Technical background in aeronautics with experience in Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO).
• Strong operational management and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle risk, opportunity management and follow‑up activities.
• Commitment to customer orientation and business goals.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance data and logistics databases.
• Experience with digitalisation and big‑data concepts.
• Familiarity with reference data integration and MIS tools.
