Technical Services Officer – Hotel

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a Technical Services Officer to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel installations and machinery at the Barcelo Lanzarote Playa property. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards of safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the proper functioning of all hotel installations and equipment, ensuring correct usage and optimal maintenance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and pool systems.
• Follow directives from supervisors and adhere to the company’s quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: medium‑level training in Maintenance (Ciclo Formativo Medio Mantenimiento).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within hotel preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Valuable: Legionella certification and pool‑maintenance training.
• Valid driving licence (category B) and own vehicle.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical abilities.
