Technology Consulting & Business Development Consultant

About the role

EY GDS Spain is hiring a Senior Manager in Technology Strategy & Consulting in its Malaga office, working under a hybrid arrangement (two days per week in the office). You will join a team that supports strategic consulting engagements, technology transformation initiatives and business development, working with senior stakeholders, Partners and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support IT strategy and technology consulting engagements across a range of industries.
• Take part in business development, sales and pre-sales, helping shape proposals and client solutions.
• Translate client needs and business challenges into technology-enabled recommendations and transformation roadmaps.
• Advise clients on IT strategy, operating models, technology governance and application landscapes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design integrated solutions and manage several initiatives at once.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a Big Four, consulting or technology advisory environment.
• Proven experience in IT strategy, technology consulting, digital transformation or technology advisory.
• Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, business development or commercial activities.
• Experience engaging senior client stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Broad understanding of technology architecture, IT operating models and business-technology alignment.
• Experience with large, complex transformation portfolios.
• Fluent English; French or German at intermediate or advanced level is an advantage.
