Trade Marketing Specialist

About the role

Exoticca, an online travel agency focused on long-distance dream trips, is looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist in Barcelona. The role acts as the operational bridge between Business Development / Sales & Commercial managers, external B2B partners and internal creative teams. It is a marketing operations position centred on executing partner campaigns, managing account requests and ensuring smooth project delivery, rather than a traditional sales or account role.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key external partners on marketing execution.
• Coordinate and implement marketing actions between B2B partners so they align with account goals and delivery timelines.
• Liaise with internal departments such as Design and Copywriting on requests and campaign briefs.
• Support tailored marketing projects and co-op campaigns in selected key partner accounts.
• Track schedules and manage project workflows to ensure timely asset delivery across accounts.
• Upload marketing materials to partner platforms, update partner intranets and handle requests about partner deliverables.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to build trust and keep partners, sales leads and internal teams aligned.
• Proactive and organised, with strong project management and multitasking skills, able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast pace.
• Solid understanding of partner account needs, channel marketing tactics and B2B co-marketing workflows, without a traditional sales background.
• Creative problem solver with a hands-on approach to campaign bottlenecks and account requests.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Comfortable with partner CMS portals and partner intranets.
• Excel, Looker and standard digital tools (Google Workspace / Microsoft Office).
