Treasury Back Office Operations Specialist

About the role

JBT Marel, a global leader in food and beverage technology and automated systems, is looking for a Treasury Back Office Operations Specialist. The specialist performs cash, disbursement and cash accounting activities within the SSC Treasury function, based in Madrid (San Fernando de Henares).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare payment proposals and process approved supplier and employee payments.
• Perform cash disbursement balancing activities.
• Produce bank statements regularly and identify all items.
• Provide audit support.
• Monitor and execute internal control procedures.
• Research and reconcile accounts payable balances and vendor statements.
• Handle record retention, tracking and reporting for tax purposes.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.

Required profile

• Studies in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• Bank and/or Treasury Department experience.
• Experience in an accounting department.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Effective team player able to work independently, with strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office product suite.
