Verified Net Zero Trainee

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Verified Net Zero (VNZ) Trainee to join its Responsible Business team and support the Manager VNZ in implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the Verified Net Zero Hotels programme. The trainee coordinates hotel onboarding and implementation, maintains programme information and tools, supports data collection and audit readiness, and contributes to training and communications. The role works closely with hotels, corporate functions, regional teams and external partners. It starts in December 2026 and lasts 6 months.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Manager VNZ with day-to-day coordination and administration of the programme, including plans, trackers, action logs, timelines and contact lists.
• Coordinate follow-ups with participating and prospective hotels, internal departments and external partners, and prepare meeting materials and minutes.
• Support hotels from readiness assessment and onboarding through implementation, verification, launch and post-launch follow-up, including carbon-footprint data and decarbonisation plans.
• Follow up on implementation actions such as renewable energy, low-carbon food, waste reduction, amenities, laundry, business travel and commuting.
• Maintain up-to-date hotel data, verification records and dashboards, and track programme costs and supplier information.
• Organise VNZ training for hotel teams, keep guidance, FAQs and templates up to date, and prepare launch communications and case studies.

Required profile

• Eligible to sign an internship agreement with an academic institution.
• Strong interest in sustainability, climate action, hospitality operations or programme management.
• Fluent written and spoken business English.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently with appropriate guidance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• SharePoint or Power BI experience is an advantage.
