Accountant – Finance Team (Hospitality)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join the finance team of a global hospitality company operating hotels, rentals and food & beverage. The role involves preparing financial reports, handling transactions, and supporting audits while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Issue invoices to customers, reconcile incoming payments and produce weekly collection reports.
• Record accounts‑payable invoices, match them to purchase orders and reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare payment suggestion forms, initiate approval cycles and execute payments.
• Reconcile outgoing payments, bank accounts, foreign‑currency differences and inter‑company balances.
• Prepare, reconcile and book monthly payroll and statutory filings.
• Create financial transactions by posting to accounting journals or software from source documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support cyclical audits.
• Compile and analyse financial statements, manage budgeting and forecasting.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports and prepare tax documentation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferably obtained in Spain).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to produce accurate financial reports and support audit processes.
