Accountant (Remote, Spanish Team)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Spanish‑based team remotely. The position will handle the full spectrum of accounting activities, from day‑to‑day transaction processing to the preparation of statutory reports. You will work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with Spanish regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare financial statements and tax filings (IVA).
• Reconcile bank accounts and oversee cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
• Knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations (Plan General de Contabilidad, IVA).
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proficient in the accounting software Holded.
