AI Virtual Assistant Adoption Manager

About the role

Santander is building a world‑class AI & Data organization to become an AI‑First bank. The AI Virtual Assistant Adoption Manager will act as a strategic influencer and technologist, accelerating the adoption of generative AI and conversational AI tools across global technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end adoption of Generative AI‑based chatbots and voicebots for customer‑facing and internal use cases, from pilot to large‑scale deployment.
• Own the adoption roadmap, aligning conversational AI solutions with business priorities, customer experience goals and operational efficiency.
• Drive standardisation, reuse and best‑practice frameworks for conversational AI across geographies and business units.
• Coordinate multi‑stakeholder programmes to ensure successful onboarding, integration and usage of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and change‑management teams to embed AI tooling into software development workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading AI adoption or digital transformation initiatives in large organisations.
• Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams and manage complex, multi‑country programmes.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business value.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with generative AI platforms, chatbots or voicebot technologies.
• Familiarity with conversational AI frameworks and integration patterns.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and AI tooling integration.
