Application Operations Engineer (AppOps & Identity)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Application Operations Engineer to join our Tech team in Spain. The role focuses on modern Application Operations (AppOps) and Identity & Access Management, ensuring the reliability, performance and security of critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Own the availability, performance and stability of key applications, monitoring health and user experience.
• Lead Tier 2/3 incident and problem management, perform root‑cause analysis and drive post‑incident improvements.
• Design, configure and tune monitoring, alerting and logging to reduce noise and detect risks early.
• Manage identity lifecycle using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including provisioning, de‑provisioning, RBAC, entitlement management and Privileged Identity Management.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve deployment and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security and business teams to provide feedback and enhance application design.

Required profile

• Experience in application support or operations in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for user lifecycle and access governance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Willingness to work from the office three days per week.
