Architect – Spain (Madrid)

About the role

Fastned is expanding its network of fast‑charging stations across Europe and is looking for an Architect to join its local team in Madrid. You will help shape the design of modular charging stations that blend into highway service areas while delivering an outstanding user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create design concepts that follow Fastned’s modular standards and guide projects through all design and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits, analyse survey data, traffic flows and access points to develop feasible solutions.
• Produce creative design solutions for challenging locations to optimise the charging experience.
• Collaborate with local authorities, external partners and internal teams to secure permits and deliver construction documents on schedule.
• Act as an ambassador for Fastned and electric mobility, promoting the concept internally and externally.

Required profile

• Passionate about the energy transition and eager to contribute to sustainable mobility.
• Team‑player who can also work independently and learn from mistakes.
• Experience in designing public spaces, infrastructure or site development.
