Cash Management & Lending Sales Associate

About the role

Santander is seeking a Cash Management & Lending Sales Associate to join its Corporate & Investment Banking division in Madrid. The role focuses on delivering cash‑management and lending solutions to corporate clients, supporting the bank’s customer‑centric transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate clients for cash‑management and lending products.
• Prepare and present client‑facing proposals and presentations using advanced PowerPoint.
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to assess client needs and product suitability.
• Collaborate with internal product and risk teams to structure tailored solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive revenue growth.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in banking, consulting or a related financial environment.
• Proven exposure to corporate clients and commercial banking activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages such as Portuguese, French or Chinese are a plus.
