Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design and development of industrial equipment. You will ensure that all designs meet technical specifications, international standards, and product requirements while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for industrial equipment using EPLAN.
• Size low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) systems, components, and cabinets.
• Select components based on technical calculations and justification.
• Analyse applicable international standards and extract requirements.
• Create electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, validation reports, manuals and other technical documentation.
• Contribute to product optimisation and value‑engineering activities.
• Provide technical input for innovation and new product development.
• Support prototype implementation and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electrical design of industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical or similar design tools.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV system sizing and cabinet design.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level or higher).
• Experience with Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, Project).
