Financial Risk Controller

About the role

The Financial Risk Controller joins the Infinity EMEA Finance & Strategy Platform to provide independent challenge and verification of financial risk controls. You will support finance management with risk‑based frameworks, identify risk areas and help shape governance aligned with Group strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent challenge of accounting and financial‑information risk identification and assessment, including LoD 1 mitigation frameworks.
• Challenge and assess first‑line‑of‑defense control setups, supervising elementary certification from SMS.
• Verify application of Group Accounting Controls procedures and close external‑auditor recommendations.
• Report quarterly syntheses to relevant perimeters and Group Finance Management, providing CFOs with risk‑assessment summaries.
• Participate in accounting projects and support remediation programmes for severe residual risk when requested by the regional CFO.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Audit.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience; banking background not mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
