FinOps Tech Lead

About the role

SD Worx is seeking a FinOps Tech Lead to drive cloud financial management across its multi‑cloud environment. The role combines technical leadership with financial governance to ensure cost efficiency, transparency and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the FinOps strategy and roadmap for cost optimization across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Implement tagging, dashboards and real‑time reporting to provide cost visibility and accountability.
• Develop and maintain automated solutions for cost anomaly detection, budget alerts and resource optimization.
• Design, build and maintain FinOps data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines and data models using SQL Server and Power BI.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, engineering and DevOps teams to align cost strategies with business objectives.
• Mentor FinOps engineers and promote a culture of financial discipline.

Required profile

• Strong background in FinOps principles, cloud economics and cost optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tagging strategies.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
