Freelance Data Engineer – AI Sales Development Representative (AI SDR)

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Data Engineer to finalize and operationalise an AI‑driven Sales Development Representative (AI SDR) bot. The majority of the application is already built; your mission is to connect the remaining components, integrate multiple communication channels, and deliver a production‑ready solution within one week.

Key responsibilities

• Review the existing AI SDR application and complete any missing functionality.
• Connect the prospect data and list‑generation pipeline to the bot.
• Integrate automated outreach channels: Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI‑driven phone calls/robocalls.
• Configure CUG‑based phone calling similar to the current SMS marketing campaign.
• Capture prospect responses and outreach outcomes and feed them back into the AI SDR workflow.
• Conduct end‑to‑end integration testing, identify and fix bugs.
• Provide basic technical documentation and knowledge‑transfer to the internal team.

Required profile

• Strong background in Data Engineering and Data Analytics.
• Proven experience integrating APIs and building data pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Email, SMS, WhatsApp and telephony/voice APIs.
• Familiarity with AI automation or sales‑automation agents is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and meet a one‑week delivery deadline.
• Excellent debugging and integration troubleshooting skills.
