Freight Forwarder – International Transport Planning

About the role

Join Ewals Cargo Care as a Freight Forwarder and take charge of planning, optimizing and coordinating urgent and standard shipments for Spanish customers. You will work in a dynamic, international environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor transport orders using internal systems, adjusting plans as needed.
• Optimize capacity by combining loads and selecting the most suitable carriers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date market knowledge, track price trends and provide rate advice to the sales team.
• Buy and sell cargoes, set competitive rates based on market developments.
• Build and sustain a reliable carrier network.
• Act as the central point of contact between customers, carriers and internal departments.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for complex planning.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with carriers, customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in logistics market trends and price developments.
