Front Office & Guest Experience Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Front Office & Guest Experience Trainee to join our team at the Miiro Borneta Hotel in Barcelona. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to daily front‑desk operations and the chance to create memorable stays for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and interact effectively to ensure a warm welcome.
• Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures under the supervision of the Front Office team.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries, providing accurate information about the hotel and its services.
• Manage reservations and keep guest information up‑to‑date in the hotel management system.
• Coordinate special guest requests with Housekeeping, Guest Experience and other departments.
• Proactively address guest needs and exceed expectations whenever possible.
• Support Front Office administrative tasks such as preparing reports, filing documents, and following up on incidents.
• Apply health, hygiene and fire safety policies and become familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.

Required profile

• Fluency in Spanish and/or English.
• Currently enrolled in a university or educational institution and able to sign an internship agreement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
