Help Desk Technician – B2B Freelance (Spanish & English)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Help Desk Technician to provide end‑to‑end technical support for desktop and laptop environments in a bilingual (Spanish & English) setting. The role is freelance, B2B, and based in Malaga, offering both onsite and remote assistance to a diverse user base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities and break/fix tasks.
• Manage the full device lifecycle: configuration, OS imaging, patching, and vendor‑based hardware replacements.
• Utilise SCCM, Intune and ServiceNow for asset tracking, ticket handling and remote support.
• Install, update and patch approved software in line with IT policies.
• Provide remote and deskside support for Microsoft Office, Outlook, VPN clients and other EUC tools.
• Enforce security protocols, antivirus monitoring and desktop policy compliance.
• Act as primary onsite contact for VIP users and critical escalations.
• Support Active Directory tasks, basic user account management and smart‑hands assistance.
• Document incidents, maintain hardware inventory and create technical guides.

Required profile

• Freelance or independent IT engineer comfortable working in a bilingual environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem and service request management.
• Ability to work onsite in Malaga and provide remote assistance as needed.
