Industrial Project Engineer – Madrid or Barcelona

About the role

Group-IPS is seeking a hands‑on Industrial Project Engineer to join its engineering and architecture team in either Madrid or Barcelona. The role is focused on delivering industrial projects from concept through commissioning, while providing technical expertise on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project master planning, feasibility studies and investment analysis.
• Coordinate detailed engineering, procurement, construction management and site supervision.
• Manage commissioning, start‑up, performance testing and handover to operations.
• Control project scope, cost, schedule and documentation throughout the full life‑cycle.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process‑driven industrial projects, including commissioning or start‑up phases.
• Previous roles such as Site Engineer, Construction Engineer, Process Engineer or Commissioning Engineer.
• Experience in Food & Beverage or Pharma sectors is a strong asset.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
