About the role
This position supports the Galileo programme, Europe’s Global Navigation Satellite System, by ensuring the continuity and availability of critical IT services. The role is based in Saint‑Germain‑en‑Laye, France, or Madrid, Spain, and works closely with operational teams on incident handling and system maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incidents and service requests promptly.
- Perform daily and weekly health‑status checks and produce reports.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including hardware replacement.
- Participate in regular technical meetings and coordinate with the operations team.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Windows and/or Linux Systems Administrator.
- Proficiency in at least two of the listed technology domains.
- English level B2 or higher (CEFR).
- EU citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance for the Galileo mission.
