Junior Contract Coordinator – Spain (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Contracts & Legal Advisor to cover a maternity leave in Spain. You will support commercial and operational teams by delivering practical, business‑oriented legal guidance and ensuring contractual confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, supply, service, procurement, confidentiality and partnership contracts.
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to Sales, Project Management, Service, Finance and other internal stakeholders.
• Identify contractual, commercial and regulatory risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Support the full contract lifecycle from template preparation and negotiations through execution, amendments and administration.
• Ensure contracts and internal processes comply with Spanish law, company policies and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with EMEA Legal colleagues and external counsel on complex legal matters, claims, disputes and corporate topics.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in Spain or equivalent legal training.
• Solid experience in commercial contracts, preferably in an international company, law firm or renewable‑energy environment.
• Confidence negotiating complex agreements and translating legal requirements into business recommendations.
• Practical knowledge of Spanish commercial, corporate and contract law; compliance and data‑protection exposure is a plus.
• Independent, organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage changing priorities.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level); additional European languages are advantageous.
