About the role

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a Junior Front‑End Web Developer to join the Technologies for Biomedical Research Lab (TechBioLab) within its Life Sciences Department. The Lab focuses on building software components for bioinformatics, research data management and trusted research environments that support cutting‑edge life‑science research.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front‑end components of web applications used in TechBioLab projects.
• Collaborate with back‑end developers and researchers to translate scientific requirements into user‑friendly interfaces.
• Ensure web applications meet accessibility, performance and security standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation of front‑end features.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a passion for web development and life‑science applications.
• Strong interest in working in a diverse, inclusive research environment.
