Junior Growth Engineer

About the role

Spendesk is looking for a Junior Growth Engineer to join its Growth Squad. You will work at the intersection of web development, experimentation, and performance, building landing pages, running A/B tests, and contributing to AI‑driven marketing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain pages and components on the Spendesk and CFO Connect websites using Nuxt.js, Vue.js, TypeScript and Storyblok.
• Implement A/B tests and UX variants in collaboration with the Senior Growth Engineer and marketing team, analyse results and translate insights into site improvements.
• Apply SEO best practices, including metadata, structured data and semantic HTML.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, surface regressions early and ensure performance standards.
• Implement tracking events and funnels via Segment, verify data accuracy in Amplitude and Google Analytics.
• Contribute to the development of agentic AI workflows across marketing and GTM.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean, readable code and share knowledge.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for boilerplate, debugging and rapid pattern discovery.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Up to two years of front‑end development experience from internships, bootcamps, personal projects or similar.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.
• Basic understanding of Vue.js or another modern component‑based framework such as React or Svelte.
• Enthusiasm for using AI tools daily as productivity multipliers.
