Junior International Tax Expert – Multi‑Geography Support

About the role

Join Sanofi’s Global Tax team in Barcelona as a Junior International Tax Expert. You will develop a solid foundation in international tax while supporting multiple geographies, working on compliance, reporting, transfer pricing and advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax support across several countries, contributing to process optimisation and best‑practice implementation.
• Act as liaison between corporate and regional tax teams, ensuring alignment on transversal projects.
• Assist geographies with tax compliance, provisions, audits, transfer‑pricing documentation and cross‑border transaction analysis.
• Participate in direct tax projects to broaden technical expertise across jurisdictions.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, automate tax processes and develop data‑driven dashboards.
• Extract and analyse tax data, create visualisations and explore low‑code solutions for reporting.
• Monitor international tax developments and support tax audits and dispute management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, tax, economics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in corporate tax, public accounting or tax consulting with international exposure.
• Good understanding of corporate tax principles, international tax concepts and transfer‑pricing fundamentals.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with tax software and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Ability to work with data‑analytics tools and low‑code platforms.
