Junior Legal Counsel – Temporary Agency Role

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its Getafe operations on a temporary agency basis. The role supports multiple business functions by providing proactive, business‑oriented legal advice across a wide range of corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cost‑effective legal advice to procurement, customer services, programs, business development, and engineering teams.
• Assist with company governance, delegations of powers, M&A, subsidiary management, litigation, competition, trade, IP, IT, R&D, and environmental issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and standard documentation.
• Conduct legal trainings and support business units in risk mitigation.
• Manage pre‑litigation and litigation cases in coordination with the litigation team.
• Report legal risks and opportunities to senior management and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee corporate documentation, external counsel selection, and legal technology tools.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously within an international team.
• Negotiation‑level proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
