Junior Logistics Specialist – Tarragona

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Junior Logistics Specialist to support daily logistics operations for MG Motor in Spain. You will coordinate vehicle flow, manage compound activities, and handle damage reporting while ensuring smooth communication with transport partners, dealerships, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supply and sales teams with accurate arrival forecasts and vehicle turnaround planning.
• Organise vehicle movements within the compound – reception, inspection, storage, and dispatch.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stock records and coordinate daily KPIs with suppliers.
• Identify, report, and track vehicle damages; liaise with workshops, inspection agencies, and insurers.
• Serve as the primary contact for dealerships regarding deliveries, damage updates, and logistics queries.
• Prepare logistics reports, delivery schedules, and damage summaries for management.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to boost compound efficiency and reduce damages.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, vehicle handling, or compound operations (automotive preferred).
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
