Launch & Operations Manager – Spain

About the role

Pollen is expanding its electric‑motorcycle battery‑swap network into Spain. As the Launch & Operations Manager you will be the operational engine that brings new cities online, starting with Valencia, and ensures the network runs smoothly from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end launch plan for each new city, including timelines, station readiness, 3PL onboarding and local permit coordination.
• Act as the main liaison between the Lisbon headquarters and local partners such as station locations, logistics and maintenance providers, clients and users.
• Validate station functionality before go‑live, escalating hardware or technical issues to the field maintenance team.
• Train 3PL staff on swap protocols, battery handling and escalation procedures.
• Be on the ground during launch and ramp‑up to resolve operational blockers and keep the city running smoothly.
• Monitor operational health of live markets, detect early issues and coordinate escalations.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in an early‑stage, fast‑moving environment with high uncertainty.
• Willingness to be based in Valencia initially and relocate as the network expands.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience managing logistics or field operations projects.
• Familiarity with third‑party logistics (3PL) coordination.
• Understanding of battery‑swap or electric‑mobility operations.
