About the role

Santander is seeking a Product Owner Insurance Value Chain Manager to lead the development and execution of global digital insurance initiatives. Based in Madrid, you will shape embedded insurance capabilities across the bank’s ecosystem, driving innovation and seamless customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of Santander’s global digital insurance ecosystem.
• Lead strategic digital insurance projects across multiple channels and countries.
• Develop embedded insurance propositions integrated into banking journeys.
• Coordinate and lead an international development squad located in Brazil.
• Build scalable, reusable, and modular digital insurance capabilities.
• Align business, customer experience, and technology teams on the digital insurance roadmap.
• Own and prioritize the digital insurance backlog, translating business needs into epics, features, and user stories.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital insurance initiatives using agile methodologies.
• Ensure release coordination, testing, and production readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading digital product initiatives in insurance or financial services.
• Strong understanding of embedded insurance and banking ecosystems.
• Ability to work with international, cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on customer‑centric solutions.
