Production Technical Project Manager

About the role

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead the production of critical satellite and space‑vehicle subsystems. You will guide cross‑functional teams through the full hardware lifecycle, from manufacturing and assembly to testing and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, manufacturing, testing and delivery of hardware such as batteries, harnessing, Power Conditioning and Distribution Units (PCDU), Flight Computers (FC) and test equipment.
• Monitor earned value metrics, resource allocations and integrated master schedules to meet PMO deadlines.
• Oversee program support activities including subcontracting, supply‑chain management, material planning and capital expenditures.
• Manage engineering and reliability lab infrastructure to reduce cycle time and cost.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field; focus on electrical systems or aerospace engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience managing production teams.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to solve complex technical problems.
