Renewal Manager (French speaker)

About the role
Elastic is looking for a French‑speaking Renewal Manager to own the end‑to‑end renewal process for its enterprise customers. In this individual‑contributor position you will work closely with sales, customer success and legal teams to ensure timely renewals, drive upsell opportunities and reinforce the value of Elastic’s AI‑powered search platform.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, initiating renewal conversations at least 180 days before contract end.
- Lead the full renewal cycle – forecasting, negotiation, and closure – while delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Identify and qualify expansion and upsell opportunities during renewal discussions and collaborate with account executives and customer success managers.
- Maintain accurate renewal status, risk assessments and forecasts in Salesforce and other reporting tools.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (sales, legal, operations, customer success) to streamline processes and resolve issues quickly.
- Stay up‑to‑date on new product capabilities and communicate the evolving value proposition to customers.
Required profile
- Proven success managing enterprise renewals or account portfolios in a SaaS subscription environment.
- Deep understanding of renewal, forecasting, risk mitigation and negotiation processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple renewal cycles independently and prioritize strategically.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a proactive approach to creating value and identifying growth opportunities.
- Fluent in French and English.
Required skills
- Salesforce (SFDC) – experience with data management and reporting.
