Senior Procurement Manager (Spain & Italy)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across Spain and Italy. Based in Madrid, you will work in a hybrid model, partnering with regional and global teams to drive strategic sourcing, supplier performance and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional procurement strategy aligned with business priorities and global category direction.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and commercial optimisation across key spend categories.
• Deliver measurable savings, operational efficiencies and ensure service continuity.
• Act as a trusted business partner for Finance, IT and regional leadership, providing spend visibility and data‑driven insights.
• Manage supplier performance, contract optimisation and risk mitigation for technology, facilities, travel, logistics, professional services and educational content.
• Support integration and transformation projects, harmonising suppliers and evolving procurement operating models.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior or regional procurement roles within international or matrix organisations.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and category management.
• Demonstrated experience in Technology/IT procurement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience supporting transformation, integration or change initiatives.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action.
• Fluent English.
