Senior Project Engineer

About the role

Técnicas Reunidas is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead interdisciplinary coordination on large‑scale Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer or Energy projects. You will ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards while complying with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones, cost targets and quality requirements.
• Lead the resolution of technical issues and propose solutions to Project Management.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, suppliers and licensors, including HAZOP, P&ID and 3D model reviews, and drive closure of related actions.
• Manage the preparation and issuance of discipline documents such as specifications, plans and requisitions.
• Review bid requests, technical tabulations and recommendations for equipment and material awards.
• Track purchases from order to on‑site delivery and control change orders.
• Provide technical support to construction teams as needed.

Required profile

• MSc or BSc in Engineering (any specialty); specialization in Oil & Gas or Energy is a plus.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer or Energy projects.
• Fluent English with strong negotiation skills.
• Willingness to undertake international assignments.
• Proactive, decisive and able to communicate effectively with customers.
