Spa & Gym Receptionist – Barcelona

About the role

As a Spa & Gym Receptionist at Soho House in Barcelona, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests, ensuring every visit starts with a warm, professional welcome. You will support the smooth operation of the spa, gym, and related services while embodying the brand’s values of collaboration, simplicity, kindness, and passion.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members by name and welcome guests with a friendly, hospitable attitude.
• Manage reception duties, including handling bookings for spa treatments, personal training sessions, and member services.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe reception area in line with standard operating procedures.
• Collect laundry for the Housekeeping Department and coordinate with other service teams.
• Address guest concerns in real time, providing solutions and escalating feedback to management when needed.
• Build positive relationships with members and guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist in training new hires on Soho House service standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in a busy, high‑profile hospitality or wellness environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
