Temporary Crew Travel Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Temporary Crew Travel Agent to manage the travel logistics of Vueling’s flight crew. The role involves planning, booking and monitoring all travel and accommodation services required for crew members, ensuring compliance with regulations and collective agreements while supporting operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse crew rosters and operational plans to determine travel and accommodation needs.
• Book and administer flights, hotels, ground transportation, rail and urgent last‑minute requests through authorised suppliers.
• Provide first‑point telephone support to crew members for operational queries, service requests or incidents.
• Monitor and verify that booked services are delivered as expected and that costs match agreed rates.
• Resolve travel issues promptly and empathetically, minimising impact on flight schedules.
• Detect and correct service gaps, missed bookings or errors before they affect crew or incur additional costs.
• Ensure accurate payment processing and uphold financial controls.
• Maintain procedural compliance, traceability and risk mitigation in all travel‑related workflows.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capability to follow internal procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with empathy for crew members.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple travel requests simultaneously.
