About the role
SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort in the Port Forum waterfront district of Barcelona, is looking for an experienced Commis Cook. Working under the guidance of the Sous Chef, you will help prepare menus, organise the kitchen and support production.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in menu preparation, kitchen organisation and production.
- Work in a team so that menu prep follows the Sous Chef's guidelines.
- Help with the storage, preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the required standards.
- Keep the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring orders and deliveries come and go as needed.
- Maintain high food hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a kitchen team of a similar size.
- A passion for food and a positive attitude towards guests, colleagues and the team.
- Organisation and attention to detail.
- Team player who is open to trying different ways of doing things.
