About the role

The Second Reception Manager supports the Reception Department in delivering excellent guest experiences at Barceló Teguise Beach. Working closely with the department head, you will oversee daily reservation planning, occupancy reporting and VIP guest handling.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily room reservation planning (short, medium and long term), occupancy reports and no‑show lists.
• Verify group rooming lists, allocate rooms and manage changes.
• Personally register and assign rooms to guests when required.
• Handle guest complaints, communicate issues to the relevant departments and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with the Reception Head and management on room rate policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, Business Administration or similar; higher vocational training in Hospitality.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar reception or front‑desk role.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer orientation and teamwork skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, solve problems and make decisions.
• Leadership capability to manage a team.
