Accounting Assistant – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant to support our daily accounting and financial operations. The role is fully remote and involves processing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end activities while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments.
• Enter accounting data into financial systems and support accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and other account reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain organized accounting records, files, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, and account summaries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and help resolve discrepancies.
• Provide information for internal and external inquiries and assist with audit documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related finance roles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.
• Professional, organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented attitude.
• Proficiency in English for communication with clients, vendors, or teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using accounting software or financial management systems.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
