Actuarial Developer – Hybrid (Life & Health Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for an Actuarial Developer to join our engineering team and help digitise life and health insurance products for markets in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while collaborating with software engineers, architects and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse calculation requirements for life and health insurance products.
• Transform product specifications into digital product models.
• Configure, test and document new digital insurance product models.
• Work side‑by‑side with engineers, architects, project leaders and management to resolve issues and propose alternatives.

Required profile

• Actuarial education with knowledge of life and pension products, or a strong interest in learning actuarial concepts.
• Minimum coding experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, or Python.
• Good understanding of life and health insurance products.
• Passion for solving complex requirements with simple, robust solutions.
• Team‑player attitude and strong communication skills.
