About the role

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Assistant to support its Supply Chain unit. The position is based in Barranquilla and is contracted from 1 July to 31 October under a Special Services Agreement (SSA‑5). This role is part of a roster that may be called upon for future operational needs across WFP locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in the planning and execution of supply chain activities for humanitarian operations.
• Support the coordination of logistics processes, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and documentation required for supply chain management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in a humanitarian context.
• Willingness to be included in a 24‑month roster for potential future assignments.
• Availability to work on‑site in Barranquilla during the contract period.
