Autonomy Infrastructure & Visualization Engineer

About the role

Airbus UpNext Spain is seeking an Autonomy Infrastructure and Visualization Engineer to design, deploy and scale the tooling, visualization platforms and network infrastructure that enable deterministic, real‑time autonomy for its demonstrator project. The role is based in Getafe and starts as soon as possible, with a contract linked to the demonstrator delivery scheduled for the end of 2028.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement an observability architecture for autonomy software, including real‑time monitoring, data logging and telemetry analysis.
• Create intuitive visualization dashboards (e.g., Grafana) to ensure predictable and safe execution of autonomy functions.
• Design and develop user‑friendly Human‑Machine Interfaces, covering web‑based front‑end and proxy back‑end systems for real‑time visualization, operational control and debugging.
• Establish and optimise CI/CD pipelines tailored for embedded and safety‑critical systems, enabling fast automated DevOps integration and validation.
• Deploy and maintain the software tooling ecosystem that supports model‑based development workflows and testing frameworks across SIL, PIL and HIL environments.
• Support configuration, maintenance and diagnostics of HIL test benches and manage the underlying IP network infrastructure.

Required profile

• Strong background in building and operating infrastructure for complex, safety‑critical software systems.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in aerospace or related high‑tech domains.
• Ability to translate complex data and system behaviour into clear, actionable visual interfaces.
