About the role

The Waiter Assistant will support the restaurant team at Barceló Ponent Beach Hotel, ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service. This position involves helping guests settle, serving food and beverages, and maintaining the service area.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in welcoming guests and helping them settle at their tables.
• Support direct customer service for food and beverage orders.
• Participate in the setup, arrangement, and breakdown of service stations.
• Help with cleaning and maintenance of the work area and equipment.

Required profile

• Medium-level Hospitality training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio in Hostelería).
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English.
• Team‑working attitude and ability to handle stress.
• Good personal presentation and social skills.
• Customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• APPCC (food safety) certification.
