Billing to Cash Agent - Order to Cash

About the role

Roche is hiring a Billing to Cash agent for its Sant Cugat del Vallès site, within the Supply Chain team of the Order to Cash (O2C) area. Reporting to O2C leadership, you will manage the full billing, collection and accounts receivable process for your assigned customer portfolio, working closely with Sales, Finance Excellence and Customer Care to reduce Days Sales Outstanding and improve the Invoice-to-Cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing and collection for assigned accounts, monitoring accounts receivable balances and submitting invoices accurately through electronic platforms or EDI.
• Analyze, document and execute invoice corrections for incidents or returns, following procedures to remove root causes and secure timely cash collection.
• Handle special billings, open accounts, post-billings and credit notes, and verify documentation to keep the customer master file accurate.
• Maintain direct, personalized contact with customers to address payment delays, reconcile accounts and simplify administrative procedures.
• Work with commercial and supply chain teams to optimize credit and collection flows and simplify workflows.
• Take part in national and global projects exploring automation, EDI platforms and workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a similar field.
• Solid experience in billing, credit management, accounts receivable or finance environments.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and a proactive approach to reducing DSO.
• Excellent communication, assertiveness and phone etiquette.
• Willingness to travel within Spain about 20% of the time.
• High-level Spanish (written and spoken) and professional English.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel).
• Familiarity with electronic billing platforms (EDI) or CRM tools such as Salesforce.
