CAMO/MRO Mission Readiness Approval Manager

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a CAMO/MRO Mission Readiness Approval Manager in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate joins the team responsible for ensuring that the A400M, M&L and MRTT CAMO/MRO quality management system complies with applicable regulations and standards, and monitors the CAMO/MRO network quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the internal audit programme for the A400M, M&L and MRTT fleets
• Perform internal and external audits to monitor compliance with QMS procedures, including subcontractors and suppliers, sometimes at customers' or suppliers' premises
• Follow up discrepancies and corrective actions arising from internal and external audits
• Monitor the status of maintenance facilities against Airbus QMS and regulatory requirements
• Develop and update compliance manuals and procedures
• Monitor CAMO/MRO personnel competence management and organisational authorisations, and manage military aircraft maintenance certificates for certifying staff
• Develop tailored training and awareness sessions within the regulatory and procedural framework
• Coordinate with other quality representatives and departments for fleet standardisation and approvals
• Support business growth through coordination with external resources and service level agreements with subsidiaries

Required profile

• Degree or Master's degree in engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in the functions described
• Advanced English and Spanish
• Desirable: internal auditor certification
• Adaptable, highly dynamic, flexible and proactive
