Circularity & Product Sustainability Manager

About the role

Würth Elektronik eiSos is looking for a Circularity & Product Sustainability Manager to join its team in Munich. In this position you will act as the central link between product management, development, purchasing, quality, IT and external partners, ensuring that sustainability and circularity requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate sustainability, EU regulatory (ESPR, CEAP, PPWR) and packaging requirements into existing and new product designs.
• Develop methods, guidelines and evaluation criteria for sustainable products and materials.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance, conduct fit‑gap analyses and define concrete actions for product teams.
• Lead the Digital Product Passport initiative, structure relevant data points and align with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish audit‑proof processes, governance structures and documentation for product data, material transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Raise awareness and provide training on sustainability, circular economy and related regulations.

Required profile

• Completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Strong interest and experience in sustainability, product development, circularity, circular economy or packaging.
• Knowledge of EU regulations such as ESPR, CSRD, ESRS, CEAP, PPWR or Digital Product Passport is an advantage.
