Content Manager - French Speaker

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring an experienced Editorial Executive (Content Manager) for its Secret Media Network, which covers cities such as London, Chicago, LA, NYC, Sydney, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona. The role reports directly to the VP of Media and leads the creation of content for the network's expansion into new markets, managing a growing team of editors, writers, video producers and social media creatives. The position covers the French and Belgian markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the French and Belgian markets, with 1-on-1 management, clear workflows and individual feedback.
• Craft, communicate and execute a creative vision for the entire Secret Media Network.
• Work with editors, staff writers and the video and social team to maintain high editorial standards and the brand's tone of voice.
• Lead the team to foster growth, creativity and reach for new audiences.
• Elevate content in established cities with an eye toward expandable formats.
• Analyze data for cities in the region using internal KPIs and use findings to inform strategy.
• Identify editorial partnership opportunities and take a hands-on approach to key content initiatives.
• Coordinate, assign and prioritize editorial work, collaborate with other Fever departments and develop audience-growth strategies.
• Build and optimize a content-driven conversion funnel that drives measurable conversions.

Required profile

• English proficiency and native-level French.
• +5 years of experience in a newsroom, content agency, creative agency or digital media property.
• Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
• Passion for journalism, especially at the local level, social media and digital marketing.
• Ability to inspire creative teams and customers, with strong presentation skills.
• Data-driven, business-savvy, with superb writing skills.

Required skills

• Media mapping and collaboration with external partners (advertising, media agencies, TV/animation companies).
• Digital fluency across social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X.
• Understanding of optimization technologies, AI-driven processes, workflow automation and performance outcomes.
• Preferred: WordPress, Photoshop, Canva and other image/video editing tools.
