Cyber SOC Manager (German Speaker) - Microsoft XDR

About the role

EY GDS Spain is looking for a Managing Consultant with expertise in Microsoft XDR solutions to join a new service offering. The role is hybrid and based in Malaga, and requires a German speaker (C1 or above). You will architect and implement cloud security monitoring platforms such as MS Sentinel and Defender XDR, act as subject matter expert for customers and advise them on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud security monitoring platforms (MS Sentinel/Defender XDR)
• Research, develop and implement use cases in Sentinel/Defender XDR within the solution studio, and manage the solution studio
• Advise customers during testing, evaluation, pilot, production and training phases, and guide them toward their end-state requirements
• Secure overall cloud environments using cybersecurity tools and best practices
• Develop processes for automated security event monitoring and alerting, and write corresponding incident response plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech./B.E.) with sound technical skills
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Certification in Azure (other cloud certifications are a plus)
• Ideally: people and project management skills

Required skills

• Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR, including migration from Splunk/QRadar/LogRhythm
• Custom parsers for unsupported devices and applications
• Playbook automation with Logic Apps, and configuration of incidents, workbooks, hunt queries and notebooks
• Threat modelling, use cases under the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Security monitoring, cyber incident response and security threat knowledge
• German C1 or above
