Pega Developer - Hybrid

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Spain is hiring a Pega Developer for its Intelligence Automation team in Malaga, working in a hybrid setting. You will help clients design and develop modern applications that optimise business processes using the Pega Development platform.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a team lead, sharing responsibility, supporting colleagues and keeping managers updated on task progress
• Deliver on time and take on increasingly complex assignments while exceeding client and team expectations
• Build productive relationships with client and onsite personnel and take part in Scrum ceremonies
• Take part in design, development, QA, deployment and support as required
• Follow EY policies and project quality protocols, including timesheets and leave management
• Update technical architecture, design and unit tests, and build technical assets and accelerators

Required profile

• 4+ years of Pega application development using the Pega Development platform
• At least 3-4 end-to-end Pega project implementations
• Experience handling a small team of Pega developers
• Ideally a degree (B.Sc, M.Sc, B.E/B.Tech, MCA) with 2-3 years of experience at a Big 4 firm or panelled SI/ITES company
• Hands-on experience in Case Management, class structure design, Pega integrations, security models (RBAC, ABAC), reporting, process flows, declarative rules, data pages, file/email listeners, job schedulers and queue processors
• Good knowledge of UI/UX and portals development, REST and SOAP APIs, and Pega performance tuning and best practices

Required skills

• Pega Development platform (CDH, CLM, CRM, SD frameworks and Pega Deployment Manager are an added advantage)
• PL/SQL and relational databases
• Pega CSSA/CLSA 7.x/8.x certification and Pega Constellation and React.js are an added advantage
• Java/J2EE knowledge is a plus
