DevOps Engineer – Automated Testing for Aviation Platform

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design and deliver an automated testing framework for a mission‑critical aviation digital platform built on a cloud‑native AWS architecture. The role offers high autonomy, close collaboration with a Senior Architect, and the chance to influence testing strategy across micro‑services and event‑driven workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable automated testing framework using Python.
• Analyse existing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git‑based) to embed testing at appropriate stages.
• Define validation strategies for APIs, services and workflows across environments.
• Build and adapt testing solutions that align with the cloud‑native, micro‑service architecture.
• Evaluate and integrate existing tools to create a unified testing strategy.
• Ensure compliance with DevSecOps, security and quality best practices.
• Document architecture decisions, design guidelines and framework usage.
• Troubleshoot system‑level issues across the application and testing ecosystem.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar technical role.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git workflows).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑native architectures.
• Good knowledge of distributed systems, micro‑services and APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Agile development.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
