DevOps Engineer

About the role

AXON Networks is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure for its AI‑driven orchestration platform and high‑speed routers. The role bridges development and operations, ensuring reliability and high availability of mission‑critical networking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud‑based and on‑premises environments using IaC tools.
• Monitor system performance across networking, application and database layers and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Enhance observability through metrics, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Maintain high availability and disaster‑recovery mechanisms for critical networking systems.
• Work with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to resolve critical incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, routing and load balancing.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Preferred: experience in the networking industry, knowledge of TR‑069, cloud certifications and Agile/Scrum methodology.
